Over the years, Officina Meccanica Valmori has become one of the most consolidated references for metal turning in the Faenza area and throughout the province of Ravenna. The turning processes are carried out on 3, 4 and 5 continuous axis centers on different materials, including stainless steel, iron and bronze, with diameters up to ø 1500 mm. 3D CAD design and five-axis CAD CAM programming make it possible to create parts even of high geometric complexity in full compliance with the required tolerances, with a competitive quality-price ratio both for small series and for
individual customized pieces.
Precision turning with numerical control machines
The turning department of Officina Meccanica Valmori is equipped with MAZAK Integrex turning and milling centers and numerically controlled lathes capable of guaranteeing high precision results on every type of piece. The system with integrated pallet changer allows continuous processing, reducing cycle times and increasing overall productivity without compromising quality. The fleet is regularly updated to always remain aligned with technological developments in the sector.
The turning of mechanical parts takes place with systematic control at every stage of the production process: from the definition of the processing parameters to the dimensional verification in the testing room, equipped with a Mitutoyo Crysta Apex S 122010 three-dimensional meter. The staff follows each order carefully, intervening on even complex materials and geometries, with the aim of delivering details that perfectly meet the customer's technical specifications.
Among the available centers, the Mazak Integrex I800 V, the Integrex I200 ST, the Nexus 350-II MY lathe, the QTC 200 MYL, the QTE-200MSY, INTEGREX J-200S NEO equipped with an ORION S-LINE ROBOTIC ISLAND and traditional lathes for specific processes stand out. This machine park covers a wide range of diameters and lengths, performing combined turning and milling operations up to Ø 1500 mm in a single production cycle, with reduced delivery times and a guarantee of constant dimensional accuracy throughout the series.
